Most graduates of DIT Mwanza Campus are likely to get employed within six months after graduation, a recent graduate tracer study has revealed. The graduate tracer study conducted between May and September 2021, revealed that, on average, 70.5% of the respondents reported that they were employed within the first six months after graduation. The study showed that, in each academic year, 2017/2018, 2018/2019 and 2019/2020 employment rates were 17.4%, 15.2% and 67.4% respectively.
The percentages of those who reported not employed were 0.0% (2017), 3.8% (2018) and 11.4% (2019). Since the trend is consistent, it can be implied that about 84.8% of the graduates get absorbed in the work market and further training.
