KIHBT Showcases Commitment to Skills Development at PASET FORUM & RSIF Conference

During the recent 6th Partnership for Skills in Applied Sciences, Engineering, and Technology (PASET) FORUM & RSIF Annual conference, the Kenya Institute of Highways and Building Technology (KIHBT) showcased the institute’s commitment to promoting a skilled workforce in Highways Technology and Infrastructure sector.

The institute, led by its Deputy Director of Strategy, Enterprise, Research, and Development, set up an exhibition booth, where it highlighted the courses available in Highways Technology and the Infrastructure sector.

The conference brought together various stakeholders in the field of education under the theme of Leveraging TVET in the Knowledge and Skills Ecosystem for Africa’s Industrialization.

PASET serves as a regional collaborative initiative that brings together African governments, local private sectors, and donors with the goal of revitalizing higher education and TVET institutions. The collaboration aims to refocus programs towards the development of excellence in science and technology, ultimately building crucial skills across key sectors to drive the continent’s development.
