The construction of the Tuition Block at Kenya Institute of Highways and Building Technology (KIHBT) is progressing steadily, with an overall completion rate of 13%. The construction is funded by the World Bank and the government of Kenya through the East Africa Skills for Transformation and Regional Integration Project (EASTRIP).
The project officially began on 25th September, 2024, and is expected to be completed by March 2025. The total contract period is set for six (6) months, with an additional one (1) year defects liability period to ensure the building’s quality and structural integrity. As construction continues, the project is on track to meet its completion goals and deliver the Tuition Block as planned
