The Meru National Polytechnic in Kenya participated at the recent Rsif Conference 2024 which focused on using Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) to drive Africa’s industrialization. The conference highlighted the importance of sustainable growth, job creation, and better living standards, while also emphasizing environmental stewardship and public health resilience.

The Meru National Polytechnic showcased three innovative projects at the conference which combined academic knowledge with practical application to address societal challenges and promote a skilled workforce for Africa’s green economy.
The East African Skills for Transformation and Regional Integration Project (EASTRIP) played a key role in supporting the innovation, empowering students and trainers to contribute to sustainable development.
