KIHBT Participates in Career Fairs and Exhibitions to Market its programmes

RFTIs

One of the EASTIP Project objectives is to increase access to TVET programs. Through the institutes’ outreach team, the Institute has been participating in Career fairs and Exhibitions to boost the visibility of the Institute and the programs offered as well as the upcoming road-related courses to all the stakeholders.

One of our target groups has been students in the Highschool category across the different counties in Kenya as it is instrumental for them to get guidance especially on the subjects critical in the engineering field. The activities have been eye opening to students looking forward to joining technical institutions for their Tertiary Education.

The engineering industry is also a major stakeholder in the Education sector as they get their workforce from the Institute. KIHBT participated in the 4th Engineering Partnership Convention Event whose theme focused on Transforming Kenya’s Economy by exhibiting its training modules and programs to the industry stakeholders. Through the engagement KIHBT shall be forging partnerships with organizations and institutions that are like minded.
