KIBHT participated in the event, showcasing its specialized capacity-building programs tailored for the engineering sector and more particularly in the roads subsector construction and maintenance. The institute’s presence at the World Engineering Day celebrations also promoted an understanding of skills gaps and opportunities for engineers and highlighted its commitment to building a robust and sustainable engineering community, one that will continue to support Kenya’s infrastructure ambitions in the years ahead.
The KIBHT stays committed to undertaking its mandate in addressing the growing demand for skills, labour and qualified technicians in the infrastructure sector by reviewing its programs curricula and developing new ones that bridge the gap between the learning institutions and the industry to meet the required standards.
