The Inter-University Council for East Africa (IUCEA) Team congratulates Prof. Musa N. Chacha upon his elevation to an Associate Professor. Prof. Chacha currently serves as the Rector of Arusha Technical College, where he has provided leadership and strategic direction in the establishment of the Regional TVET Centre of Excellence in Renewable Energy at Kikuletwa campus. Under his stewardship the centre has made tremendous progress with world-class infrastructure, including classroom block, lecture theatre, workshops, hostels, adult accommodation, among other infrastructure.
Prof Chacha has spearheaded efforts to improve ATC’s training facilities and infrastructure, reviewing and updating the curriculum. This has not only provided students with a conducive environment with state-of-the-art facilities for teaching and learning but also. Ensured that the colleges’ training remains relevant, dynamic, and aligned with industry needs to equip students with knowledge and skills to thrive in today’s competitive labour market.
