Mrs. Tsedale Tekelu, the Vice Director of the institute of technology and enterprise development, who attended the training, stated that the center has been preparing to provide a wide range of training in the fiscal year and that the training has started in practical phase.
The center, which has a mission to produce qualified professionals who will increase the capacity of the manufacturing industry, is working to train industrial technicians in addition to the training it receives from the government.

The vice-director added that the center, which has the goal of producing qualified employees for the international market, will train new trainees and also provide capacity building training for working professionals.
The CEO of Technology Manufacturing and Welding Center announced that he will receive forty trainees in module 1 and module 2 from industries and government technical and vocational training institutions in the second round.
Technology Manufacturing and Welding Center is the founder of African Welding Association and is recognized by the International Welding Association to train and evaluate four welding training professions.
