The Industrial Advisory Board for Kikuletwa Renewable Energy Training and Research Centre, a Campus of Arusha Technical College, has strongly advised the College to prioritize the completion of activities related to the EASTRIP Project. This recommendation stems from the fact that the project’s lifespan is rapidly approaching its end.

During the 4th Industrial Advisory Board meeting for Kikuletwa Campus, which has been upgraded under the EASTRIP Project to become a Centre of Excellence in Renewable Energy, the Chairman of the Advisory Board, Eng. Musa Mzumbe, addressed the urgency of expediting the remaining project activities. Following a visit to the construction site at Kikuletwa Campus, Eng. Mzumbe expressed satisfaction with the progress made thus far and emphasized the need to accelerate the completion of construction-related tasks

Eng. Mzumbe stated, “I am pleased to witness the commendable progress of our project. However, given that the project is slated to conclude next year, it is imperative that we expedite the finishing activities of the buildings. As we approach the project’s end, we must prioritize the completion of all pending tasks.”

Currently, all the buildings at Kikuletwa Campus are in the final stages of construction. The contractor is working tirelessly day and night to ensure timely completion of the work within the specified timeframe. The College is fully committed to meeting the requirements and expectations set forth by the Industrial Advisory Board, aiming to establish itself as a premier institution in the field of Renewable Energy.
