Arusha Technical College enters partnership with Meru National Polytechnic for Staff and Student exchange

Arusha Technical College (ATC) has started collaboration with Meru National Polytechnic in Kenya for staff exchange and students’  exchange between the two institutions as a way of achieving World Bank goals under the East African Skills for Transformation and Regional Integration Project EASTRIP Project. 

Staff exchange program between the two institutions has already started where 5 Staff from Meru National Polytechnic have successfully completed their one-month teaching and learning at Arusha Technical College and it is expected another group of students from Meru will join ATC.

Speaking at Arusha Technical College the Deputy Rector – Academic Reseach and Consultancy Dr. Yusuph Mhando said that it has been a great honour to host staff from Meru Polytechnic since that strengthens the good relationship between the two institutions. 

“It is a great honor to host staff from Meru National Polytechnic at ATC, we have learned a lot from them and they have learned a lot from us, this is just the beginning as we are expecting our staff also to go there very soon and so far we expect to receive another group of students from Meru Polytechnic to join ATC,” said Dr. Mhando.
